Description:

The staff of Augusta Engineering completed the engineering, design and construction specifications for a 50,000 sq. ft. expansion of the existing facility utilized in the manufacturing of aircraft escape slides.

The expansion included a 50 ft. high bay testing area for indoor deployment of each slide. The unique facility included an innovative HVAC design with floor level ducts to remove solvent fumes and a cloth duct system for the uniform distribution of air in this once through system.
