Mechanical & Equipment Engineering

Society needs mechanical engineers who have the broad outlook necessary to solve complex problems. Augusta’s mechanical engineers utilize analytical calculations, scientific theory, and experimental studies along with different models and prototypes to verify the workability, safety and reliability of design in all projects.

In design and engineering, our mechanical engineers utilize client specifications and standards. However, if the client desires we can provide our own specifications and standards, which utilize API, ASME, ANSI and all applicable federal and local codes.

Mechanical Engineering in its range of functions is perhaps the broadest of all the engineering disciplines. Our mechanical engineers handle projects concerned with mechanical design, energy conversion, fuel and combustion technologies, heat transfer, materials, noise control and acoustics, automatic control, product safety and reliability.

Our Mechanical Group consists of project managers, senior engineers, engineers, consultants, senior designers, designers and trainers. They are concerned with design, manufacture and operation of a wide range of components, devices and systems. Activities central to the scope of work for Augusta’s Mechanical Group include: air handling and ventilation system design, compressor pump applications, heat balance studies, acoustical analysis and piping.
